Do I need a permit for a pergola in Melbourne?
Smaller pergolas often fall within exemptions; larger or attached structures may need a building permit. We'll confirm what applies to your project before any work starts.
Can you combine a pergola with a new deck?
Absolutely. Deck-and-pergola packages are one of the most popular things we build, and designing them together always gives a better result than adding one later.
What roofing can a pergola have?
Open rafters, slatted battens, polycarbonate sheeting or solid roofing. Each changes the light, weather protection and look. We'll walk you through samples and examples at your quote.
How long does a pergola take?
Most pergolas are built in under a week on site once materials are ready. Combined deck-pergola projects run longer, and you'll get a clear timeframe in your quote.
What timber do you use?
